Construction sites 2 and 3 in the Lübeck residential district NEUE MEILE are fully let. This means that 233 apartments in 7 residential properties are now occupied. In total, around 29,000 m² of living space will be created in the car-free quarter in the St. Lorenz district, divided into 13 buildings with 340 units. Construction sites 2 and 3 also include an underground car park with 165 parking spaces.
DIE WOHNKOMPANIE Nord acquired the approximately 80,000 m² site on the former Lübeck freight station in February 2017 and developed the NEUE MEILE. The rental apartments were completed in February of this year. HAMBURG TEAM Investment Management acquired construction sites 2 and 3 of the project as part of a forward deal in June 2022 for the two special funds “HAMBURG TEAM Urbane WohnWerte II” and “HAMBURG TEAM Norddeutsche WohnWerte”.

The one- to five-room apartments are between 40 m² and 138 m² in size and all barrier-free. The south-facing building blocks with four to five storeys have high-quality furnishings with their own loggia, balcony or (roof) terrace. The high energy standard, the sustainable planning including generous green spaces and recreational areas make the residential units particularly attractive. The quarter, which is directly adjacent to Lübeck’s city centre and the main train station, is about an hour’s drive from Hamburg’s city centre and at the same time optimally connected to local and long-distance public transport.
