VSB begins construction work on the Liethe-Lehmden wind farm repowering project in Lower Saxony

VSB has commenced work on the Liethe-Lehmden wind farm repowering project in Rastede. Three new turbines (18 MW) will replace four old turbines and are estimated to be able to supply around 11,300 three-person households. Dismantling is scheduled to begin in February 2027, with commissioning due in late summer 2027.

TotalEnergies is bundling its integrated power business in Germany under "Integrated Power Germany". QUADRA energy Sales & Origination, Kyon Energy, VSB and the offshore wind business will be combined. Alexandre Duret-Proux will head the new unit.

VSB implements 8 MWp photovoltaic system for thyssenkrupp Rasselstein

VSB is building an 8 MWp ground-mounted photovoltaic system with around 12,000 modules on the site of thyssenkrupp Rasselstein in Andernach. Construction will start in Q4/2026, with commissioning planned for mid-2027. A 20-year on-site PPA: VSB IES finances, builds and operates; approx. 8 GWh/year.

VSB Germany successfully commissions expansion of Vockenrod wind farm

VSB Deutschland has completed the expansion of the Vockenrod wind farm on schedule following the commissioning of the second turbine. A total of five Nordex N149-5 turbines are now being produced. X with 28.5 MW of climate-friendly electricity. Commissioning took place in the first half of 2026.

INTERSOLAR EUROPE 2026: VSB showcases photovoltaic projects from 20 to 303 MWp

VSB will be presenting photovoltaic projects from Germany, Italy and Poland at Intersolar Europe (June 23–25, 2026, Munich). Highlights: Löberitz 19.99 MWp with hybrid approach, Brzezinka 303 MWp plus 106 MWp storage, Francofonte 36 MWp (construction from 2027, commissioning by the end of 2028).
