BNP Paribas Real Estate unveils new governance structure to support development strategy BNP Paribas Real Estate appoints Thierry Laroue-Pont as Executive Chairman and Jean-Maxime Jouis as Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
In view of the profound change in the real estate sector, BNP Paribas Real Estate announces changes in its corporate governance and organisation with effect from 1 March 2026.
Jean-Maxime Jouis has been appointed CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate and will work as Executive Chairman in close coordination with Thierry Laroue-Pont.
Thierry Laroue-Pont will continue to lead the Property Development division, which plays a key role in the implementation of the company’s strategic roadmap.
Jean-Maxime Jouis will take over the strategic and operational management of BNP Paribas Real Estate, with a particular focus on the Advisory and Property Management divisions, for which he has been responsible since 1 January.
The new leadership team will be complemented by three Deputy Chief Executive Officers:
- Molka Langar joins BNP Paribas Real Estate as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, where he will be responsible for Corporate Functions and Transformation.
- Laurent Boucher will continue to be responsible for the Advisory (Transaction, Consulting, Valuation) division as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate.
- Csongor Csukas will now take over the Property Management division as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate.
The Management Board will work in close coordination with the Board of Directors, which includes members of BNP Paribas’ three major business units.

BIOGRAPHIES:
Thierry Laroue-Pont is Executive Chairman of BNP Paribas Real Estate and CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate Property Development.
He started his career at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in 1987 and joined BNP Paribas Real Estate in 2004. Laroue-Pont took over as regional manager in Ile-de-France, then as vice chairman and finally as chairman of BNP Paribas Real Estate Advisory France. In 2012, he was appointed Deputy General Manager of BNP Paribas Real Estate and was responsible for Advisory (Transactions, Consulting, Valuation) before being appointed CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate in 2014. Since October 2024, Laroue-Pont has also been CEO of the Property Development business unit.
Thierry Laroue-Pont is a graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Lyon and holds a Master’s degree in Law and a Postgraduate Degree in International Law.
Jean-Maxime Jouis is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BNP Paribas Real Estate, responsible for the strategic and operational management of the company, as well as oversight of the Advisory and Property Management divisions.
Jean-Maxime Jouis spent his professional career at BNP Paribas Real Estate. He joined BNP Paribas REIM France, then a subsidiary of BNP Paribas Real Estate, in 2007. He has held the following positions: Asset Manager, Fund Manager, Head of Fund Management, Global Head of Fund Management & Private Investors and Member of the Management Board of BNP Paribas REIM France.
In 2022, Jean-Maxime Jouis became Chairman of the Management Board of BNP Paribas REIM France and in July 2023 Global Head of Investment Management until the transfer to BNP Paribas Asset Management on 1 January 2026. Jean-Maxime Jouis is a graduate of ESSEC.
Molka Langar is Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate and responsible for corporate functions and transformation of the company.
Molka Langar started her career in 2007 in General Inspection at Crédit Agricole and joined the BNP Paribas Group in 2011. She first worked on proprietary acquisitions in the strategic planning department, then in the group’s finance department, where she led financial management for IPS. She joined BNP Paribas Cardif in 2018, where she held various roles in corporate strategy and then in financial management as part of Finance, Actuarial and Capital (FAC).
From February 2022 to October 2024, she was Head of Strategic Management and Development at BNP Paribas Cardif France. From the end of 2024 to the end of 2025, Molka Langar was Head of Programmes for the IPS division, where she was responsible for the transfer of asset management from BNP Paribas Cardif to BNP Paribas Asset Management and supported BNP Paribas Real Estate in the development of a strategic plan. She joined BNP Paribas Real Estate last January.
Molka Langar is a graduate of ESCP-EAP European School of Management.
Laurent Boucher is Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate, responsible for the Advisory (Transaction, Consulting, Valuation) businesses in Europe.
Since joining Auguste-Thouard in 1988 as a consultant and later as a director, Laurent Boucher has spent his professional career at BNP Paribas Real Estate, where he was appointed Deputy Managing Director of BNP Paribas Real Estate Transaction France in 2008, Vice-Chairman in 2011 and Chief Executive Officer in 2014.
In October 2020, Laurent Boucher was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate, responsible for the advisory business in France, Benelux, Spain, Ireland, Italy and Poland. Since 1 January 2026, his area of responsibility has also included Germany and the United Kingdom.
Csongor Csukas is Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate, where he is responsible for the Property Management division.
Csongor Csukas started his professional career in 2002 at BFM Facility Management, a subsidiary of PBW Hungary, where he served as Managing Director from 2004 to 2008 before being appointed Head of Administration and Finance and then Deputy CEO of PBW Hungary. Following the acquisition of PBW Hungary by BNP Paribas Real Estate in 2010, Csongor Csukas became General Manager for Hungary and the Czech Republic. In 2014, Csukas was appointed Head of International Property Management. Since December 2018, he has also held the position of Chairman of BNP Paribas Real Estate Property Management France.
Csukas is a graduate of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and the Corvinus University of Budapest. He also holds a Master’s degree in East-West Industrial Project Management from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers Arts et Métiers ParisTech (ENSAM).
