Global real estate services provider CBRE has exclusively advised NXP Semiconductors on the lease of its new location. CBRE has contributed its market knowledge as well as technical and workplace know-how to develop an optimal location strategy.
“We are very pleased that we were able to provide NXP Semiconductors with decisive advice on the largest lease of this year in Hamburg,” says Julian Zadeh, Head of Office Leasing Hamburg at CBRE.
After more than 100 years, NXP Semiconductors will relocate its Hamburg site from Lokstedt to Bahrenfeld. To this end, the company is renting around 25,200 square metres in the former wholesale market area. A modern company campus with rental space for office, laboratory and technical use is to be built at this location. The campus will offer space for over 800 employees and bundle the central functions such as research, development, marketing and management.
The Captiva real estate group, which specialises in investment and asset management, developed the project and created the planning requirements for the transformation of the area into a future-oriented district. The AUG. PRIEN project development as part of the AUG. PRIEN Group has acquired the property from Cativa and is continuing the project development. The lease agreement between AUG. PRIEN Projektentwicklung and NXP was closed in September.
