The Centralis Immobilien Group announces the start of construction of its project development at Lüneburger Straße 5 in Hamburg-Harburg. On the 700 square metre site, Limehome is expected to operate a total of 88 modern serviced apartments from Q3 2027.
The project comprises a total of 3,100 square metres of rental space. The accommodations each offer between 20 and 35 square meters of space, plus a restaurant/shop area on the ground floor.
The original plans for the use of the site for serviced apartments date back to 2018 and had been presented by another investor at the time. Centralis took over the project in 2024 and consistently pushed it forward in an adapted form with construction partner August Prien. The successful start of construction is the latest successful milestone.
The micro-location of the property in the south of Hamburg is attractive. The transport connections are very convenient, so the Harburg-Rathaus S-Bahn station is only a four-minute walk away. In the immediate vicinity there are also green spaces, various local amenities including the Phönix-Center Hamburg shopping center and cultural institutions such as the Archaeological Museum Hamburg.
