JLL brokers largest logistics deal in the region in four years
The Chinese retail group JD.com has leased a logistics property of around 41,200 m² south of Berlin, which offers 34,700 m² of hall, 4,300 m² of mezzanine and 2,200 m² of office space. The owner is the developer and investor Verdion, which specialises in industrial and logistics properties. JLL advised both sides on the lease and brokered the deal. Without taking owner-occupiers into account, this is the largest logistics deal in the greater Berlin/Brandenburg area since 2022.
The property belongs to the “Verdion PremierPark” and is located in Ludwigsfelde, Brandenburgische Straße 51. The logistics park consists of three buildings with a total lettable area of 62,000 m² and has been awarded the DGNB Platinum and BREEAM Excellent sustainability certificates. JD.com has been using the area since April 1, 2026.
