The new offering supports family offices, private banks and asset managers with complex client requirements relating to private equity. Pierre Ferron joins from Edmond de Rothschild and takes over the management of Altaroc Wealth.
After opening offices in Germany and Italy, Altaroc continues its growth trajectory and establishes Altaroc Wealth. The new unit provides targeted support to its partners such as asset managers, private banks and family offices in all wealth-related matters relating to private equity investments for their clients.
As part of this new service offering, Altaroc announces the appointment of Pierre Ferron as Director of Wealth Structuring at Altaroc Wealth . With more than 20 years of experience advising entrepreneurs and executives, Ferron has deep legal and tax expertise gained in several leading financial institutions.
Most recently, Ferron worked as Deputy Head of Asset Structuring at Edmond de Rothschild since 2014. There, he advised executives and entrepreneurs on the definition, structuring and implementation of their wealth strategies, and in particular contributed to strengthening the expertise offered to the Group's various distribution networks. Previously, he was in the legal department of AXA France. Ferron began his professional career at UBS France in 2006.
Ferron holds a Master's 2 degree in tax and business law and taught at the prestigious Sciences-Po Paris from 2015 to 2017.
"Our partners advise entrepreneurs and executives whose assets are often still closely linked to their company. When private equity is integrated into these complex assets, it raises concrete questions – whether in terms of liquidity allocation, structuring, succession or governance. These go beyond fund selection and require tailored tax and wealth responses. Our ambition is to provide our partners with in-depth expertise across the entire value chain – not to replace them, but to be a reliable partner for complex issues. This is exactly the goal of Altaroc Wealth: to expand our service offering with the same high quality standards that have guided Altaroc since its inception."
Thibaut Mortelecq, Head of Development at Altaroc
"I am very excited to join Altaroc and participate in the launch of Altaroc Wealth. The direct integration of asset structure expertise into a private equity firm is a real innovation in the market – and it is precisely this innovative strength that convinced me. It is in line with my vision of this profession: a discipline in constant change that requires the development of sustainable and robust solutions in the long term."
Pierre Ferron, Director of Wealth Structuring at Altaroc Wealth
This appointment underlines the growth momentum of Altaroc, which continues to expand its offering and strengthen its expertise vis-à-vis its partners and their clients. Faced with increasingly complex wealth issues – around asset diversification, asset structuring and transfer, liquidity management or the search for long-term performance – they now expect solutions that can answer all their wealth concerns in an ever-changing economic, tax and regulatory environment.
