Bernhard Berg (66) will leave CAERUS Debt Investments AG at the end of March to retire. He worked for the Düsseldorf-based company for five years as Chief Operating Officer (COO). His successor, Markus Kreuter, joined CAERUS at the beginning of February to ensure a smooth transition.
In his role as COO, Berg was responsible for client relationship and product structuring, among other things, and was a member of the Investment Committee. Among the most important stages of his professional life, he counts the R+V Insurance Group, the Generali Group, IVG Institutional Funds (today: Patrizia) and Corpus Sireo Holding (today: Swiss Life Asset Managers).
Bernhard Berg is one of the founding members of the European Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles (INREV) and was a member of the Management Board for many years.
"With Bernhard Berg, we are saying goodbye to a colleague on the Board of Management who, with his experience and deep understanding of the industry, has helped shape our company for many years with vision, integrity and personal modesty. We will miss him, but at the same time we are happy with him about the well-deserved new phase of his life and wish him health, joy and many fulfilling moments with his family and friends," says Michael Morgenroth, founder and CEO of CAERUS and Managing Partner at CapMan Real Asset Debt.
