Robert C. Spies Industrial Real Estate GmbH & Co. KG has successfully accompanied the lease and revitalization of a former tennis hall at Edisonstraße 30 in Sottrum. The approximately 2,000 m² area, which was used as a warehouse in the meantime, is now operated by Five Padels Sottrum GmbH as a modern sports facility under the name "P3 PADEL CLUB – ROTENBURG".
The landlord of the hall is ParkObjekt Grüne Immobilien GmbH, a company of Lifepark AG. The holistic planning and implementation of the conversion – from approval planning to architectural redesign to the development of a tailor-made fire protection concept – was carried out by the Bremen-based architectural firm Plangrad.
The facility offers a high-quality infrastructure with four double and two single courts as well as modern changing rooms and sanitary areas. The ceremonial opening of the site took place on January 30, 2026.
"With the P3 Padel Club in Rotenburg, we have created an attractive location that consistently focuses on the sport of padel and offers optimal conditions for players of all levels. High-quality courts and an inviting atmosphere ensure an environment in which sport and quality of stay are equally important. The excellent location in the immediate vicinity of the A1 also ensures very good accessibility. We would like to thank Marcel Holka and Robert C. Spies Industrial Real Estate for their professional support in the brokerage process as well as our landlord, Lifepark AG, for the cooperative partnership," says Oliver Wrieden, Managing Director of Five Padels Sottrum GmbH.
"The project impressively shows how existing properties can be successfully converted into contemporary leisure and sports concepts. We have been experiencing a strong demand for suitable space for padel locations for some time now and are very pleased that we were able to successfully support Five Padels Sottrum GmbH in their search for their ideal location," says Marcel Holka, Senior Consultant for Logistics and Industrial Real Estate at Robert C. Spies Industrial Real Estate.
