scopea launches at the wind trade fair: New company for measurement technology and expert reports in wind energy
Berlin - The wind energy industry has a new market player: scopea GmbH. The newly founded company, based in Berlin, combines the know-how of measurement technology, operational analyses and technical optimisation measures with the expertise of independent expert reports for the wind energy industry.
The aim of scopea is to use data to create concrete added value for wind turbines: from project development to ongoing operation, investment and financing decisions.
Already in the project development phase, scopea provides support with well-founded sound, shadow, turbulence and yield reports. These create the basis for reliable decisions and a reliable risk assessment. In the operating phase, measurement campaigns and technical analyses help to uncover optimisation potential, identify causes of performance losses and derive suitable measures.
The experts at scopea specialize in yield optimization through vibration analyses, performance investigations and rotor imbalance measurements. The teams are deployed both in Germany and internationally to contribute to increasing energy yields and extending the service life of the turbine with precise measurements and well-founded data evaluations.
A particular added value lies in the combination of independent expert reports and practical measurement technology. Abnormalities in plant operation can thus not only be recorded by measurement technology, but also evaluated with regard to their effects on yield, availability or noise emissions. At the same time, assumptions and forecasts from the planning phase can be checked and further developed on the basis of real operating data.
