The office and commercial building Große Bleiche 35/37/39 in Mainz is fully let – handover to the tenant planned for the 2nd quarter of 2026 after fit-out work

Deutsche Bürohaus GmbH, a subsidiary of the DVI Group, has leased around 3,312 square metres of office space in its office and commercial building at Große Bleiche 35, 37 and 39 in Mainz to the state of Rhineland-Palatinate on a long-term basis.

In the coming months, Deutsche Bürohaus will expand the newly let space in line with the tenant’s requirements. The handover is planned for the second quarter of 2026. With the new lease, the building with a total lettable area of around 7,400 square metres is fully let again.

The office and commercial building, which was built in 1993 and more than 50 percent leased to Commerzbank on a long-term basis, was acquired by Deutsche Bürohaus in spring 2025. Since then, various conversion measures have been carried out to optimize the property, which was originally designed as a single-tenant building, for use as a multi-tenant office building.

“During our renovation measures, we placed particular emphasis on the topic of sustainability. With the high building quality achieved as a result and in conjunction with the central location in Mainz’s city centre, we were able to create an offer that is very suitable for a state institution and obviously quickly convinced the future tenant. Both the historic old town and the main train station of Mainz can be reached on foot from this location within a short time,” says Dirk Wichner.
