Goldbeck Property Services, part of the construction and services company Goldbeck, which operates throughout Europe, has been commissioned with the commercial and technical property management for the mixed-use Perlach Plaza district in Munich. The ensemble includes the Perlach Arkaden with 21 commercial units, several apartment buildings and a park. In total, Goldbeck Property Services manages 50,000 square metres of floor space. The client is the investment and asset manager KGAL, for whom Goldbeck Property Services already manages twelve other properties. These include the RWE Campus in Essen, the Jannowitz in Berlin and the BeOne office building in Frankfurt.
The mandate is particularly demanding due to the diverse usage structure of the quarter and the associated different requirements, the complex technical infrastructure and the diverse stakeholder requirements: The Perlach Arkaden is home to retail space, restaurants, a hotel, a fitness studio and other service providers. The ensemble is complemented by the apartment house STUD. IO with 104 furnished residential units and common areas aimed in particular at students. In addition, the quarter comprises 111 rental apartments with living space between 30 and 130 square metres, which are currently fully let to families, singles and commuters.
Jan Majer-Leonhard, Managing Director of Goldbeck Property Services, says: "The renewed order by KGAL is an important sign of trust for us. With Perlach Plaza, we are looking after a district that reflects the entire spectrum of modern urban life and that many people use every day. Our goal is to create real added value for owners, tenants and visitors through efficient processes, clear communication and forward-looking management, and to further develop this attractive mandate in the long term together with KGAL."
