Smakkelaarsburgt office building confirms its attractiveness as a modern workplace
Following last year's lease extension of approximately 1,400 sqm of office space at Leidseveer 2–12 in Utrecht, Haskoning Nederland BV has now further expanded its presence in the building by leasing an additional 1,000 sqm from Aroundtown. The international engineering and consulting firm specialises in sustainable infrastructure, industrial and development projects, and water-related projects, among others. The extension underlines the property's attractiveness as a modern office location in a central setting and confirms the continued demand for well-connected, flexible working environments in urban areas.
The property is located in a prominent inner-city location in Utrecht, at a branch of the river Vecht. In the immediate vicinity are the TivoliVredenburg concert hall, Utrecht Centraal station, as well as various museums and hotels. The central location offers excellent public transport connections, including train services and bus lines such as 45 (towards The Hague) and 5 (city centre). Combined with the urban environment, this results in an attractive office location. With its modern appearance and flexible floor plan options, the property offers an appealing working environment for a wide range of requirements.
The expansion highlights the quality of the building within the MMNT Utrecht Leidseveer BV project and demonstrates how Aroundtown aligns its comprehensive tenant services with the creation of long-term perspectives within its portfolio. The leasing success also confirms Aroundtown's market expertise in the commercial real estate segment. Aroundtown is one of Europe's leading listed real estate companies and is included in the MDAX.
