With a long-term lease agreement for around 300 m² of gastronomy and retail space at Schadowstraße 78, Aengevelt Immobilien has gained another prominent tenant for one of the most sought-after addresses in Düsseldorf's city centre: Kikis Kitchen will open its new location here towards the end of 2026. The landlord of the space is Argali Eckhaus GmbH.
The rental property is located in a modern office and commercial building in a prominent corner location on Schadowstraße, which, together with Königsallee, forms the heart of Düsseldorf's city centre and is one of the absolutely first-class retail locations in Germany. With up to 130,000 passers-by per day, excellent public transport connections and being one of the highest-turnover shopping streets in Germany, the location offers an ideal platform for gastronomy and retail.
Kiki Aweimer, owner of Kikis Kitchen, on the settlement: "Schadowstraße is the perfect place for our concept. The prominent corner location and the proximity to the pedestrian zone enable us to reach our guests and customers in the best possible way. The modern, bright and generously proportioned property offers us all the prerequisites for a successful start in Düsseldorf."
Hamza Aweimer, owner of Kikis Kitchen, adds: "With the new location, we want to make Kikis Kitchen come alive in one of the most attractive shopping streets in Germany. Our goal is to create a place where high-quality products, hospitality and a special brand experience come together."
"Aengevelt was already active in an advisory capacity during the purchase of the property and subsequently supported the optimal positioning of the property on the market. With Kikis Kitchen, we have now found a tenant who will make full use of the qualities of the location," explains Tim Odenbrett, rental expert at Aengevelt Immobilien in Düsseldorf, who accompanied the rental deal.
Max Aengevelt, Managing Partner of Aengevelt Immobilien, adds: "We are pleased to have comprehensively supported the owners of this property in both transactions. We usually manage the property exclusively for our family's own properties. The fact that we are now taking on this task in this case as well underlines the high level of trust and the special cooperation."
At the end of August 2026, the first German "Kronospan Design Center" will also open in the same property, where interior designers, designers and property developers can experience Kronospan's products and current design trends together with their customers.
