FOX REAL ESTATE has won Förde Sparkasse as a tenant for an office property in Kiel. State-of-the-art office workplaces for employees of the financial services provider are to be created on the site by the end of 2026. With the letting of over 1,400 square metres, the majority of the total of 5,729 square metres of office space has now been let and only smaller spaces are available for rent. Originally, the building was used entirely by Deutsche Telekom.
The modern property from 2010 is located in the street Zur Helling 4 in Gaarden-Ost, at the tip of the harbour, which forms the southern end of the Kiel Fjord, the so-called “Hörn”. The old town can be reached on foot in a few minutes via the “Hörnbrücke”. In addition to Kiel’s main train station, there are a wide range of shopping and dining options. The Hanseatic cities of Hamburg and Lübeck are easy to reach via the A210, A215 and A7 motorways.
“The letting confirms that office properties can also work beyond the top 7 office markets. Good locations and property qualities are essential for this,” says Franziska Lorenz, Senior Project Developer at FOX Real Estate.
