Goldbeck Facility Services, part of the Europe-wide construction and services company Goldbeck, will remain responsible for the facility management of the Riethorst complex in Hanover even following the change of ownership. The new client is the BAUM Group, which acquired the office properties in early 2026. The Hanover-based property company has commissioned Goldbeck Facility Services to provide technical facility management. They have been responsible for the technical facility management of the property since 2021.
The building complex, known in the market as the Riethorst Ensemble, comprises the properties Riethorst 2 and 4 as well as Podbielskistraße 395, and has a total lettable area of around 31,600 square metres. Following the change of ownership in early 2026, the new owner developed the property into a mixed-use office complex with a variety of tenants and uses. The complex is fully let.
“The fact that we are able to continue managing the Riethorst complex even after the change of ownership is, for us, a special endorsement of our work on the ground,” says Nils Lueken, Managing Director of Goldbeck Facility Services GmbH. “We are delighted by the trust placed in us by the BAUM Group and look forward to continuing our collaboration under the new ownership structure. Thanks to our existing knowledge of the property and our experience with mixed-use developments, we can ensure a smooth transition and continue management without interruption.”
The Riethorst Ensemble was built in 1977 and underwent extensive refurbishment between 2011 and 2014. The site is situated in the north-east of the capital of Lower Saxony.
