Following the signing of the real estate transaction in February of this year, the closing took place at the end of October 2025: HAMBURG TEAM took over the 140-unit real estate project AMALIE in Hanover-Kronsrode on 30 October 2025. The seller of the real estate ensemble is a joint venture between the project developer WOHNKOMPANIE Nord – part of the Zech Group – and the construction company Wilhelm Wallbrecht. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The acquired portfolio has thus flowed into the special fund “HAMBURG TEAM Urbane WohnWerte II” managed by HAMBURG TEAM.
“With the AMALIE project, we are not only investing in an attractive residential complex, but also in a piece of lived urban development. In Hanover, Kronsrode stands for modern and diverse living in a mixed-use and sustainable district. And this is exactly what this investment product embodies in a special way with its KfW-55 NH standard, the QNG seal and the DGNB Gold certification. For us, AMALIE is an investment that combines economic stability and social responsibility, in the interests of our investors,” says Pedro de Sousa Machado, Managing Director at HAMBURG TEAM.
AMALIE comprises 93 privately financed, barrier-free apartments, including 16 wheelchair-accessible units. A further 35 subsidised apartments and twelve townhouses complete the product acquired by HAMBURG TEAM. The residential development also has 103 underground parking spaces. The architectural design planning was penned by Mosaik Architekten Hannover.
Ralph Müller, Managing Director of DIE WOHNKOMPANIE Nord: “We are particularly proud of the combination of architectural quality, social mix and climate-friendly standards. With HAMBURG TEAM, we have found a partner who continues these values and with whom the project is in good hands in the long term.”
Frank Siebrecht, Managing Partner of Wallbrecht: “We turn dreams and plans into tangible reality. By working with strong partners, we have succeeded in creating high-quality living space for future generations – which we are very pleased about.”
The almost 9,300 m² project site is located in the immediate vicinity of Kattenbrook Park. On a neighboring construction site, the sister project EMMY, also initiated by the joint venture team, is being built with a further 116 residential units. The district of Kronsrode is located in the southeastern part of the capital of Lower Saxony.
