The Berlin-based Hansevest Group acquires a listed residential building in the Magdeburg district of Sudenburg through the mediation of the Magdeburg branch of Aengevelt Immobilien. The property comprises a total of 36 apartments with a total lettable area of approx. 2,000 m². Aengevelt brokered the sale on the exclusive behalf of a real estate fund managed by Wiener Premium Holding GmbH. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Daniel Krolzik, Managing Director of Hansevest: “Magdeburg offers excellent development prospects and is therefore one of our investment priorities alongside Leipzig. We are looking for attractive apartment buildings with balconies and, if possible, without a commercial component. Accordingly, the property we have now acquired fits perfectly into our investment strategy, especially since it is located in the immediate vicinity of two similar houses that we have previously acquired.”
“Due to portfolio restructuring, the seller has commissioned us exclusively with the sale of the well-maintained, listed residential building. As part of our targeted customer approach, Hansevest, who is familiar with the area, immediately recognised the qualities of the property and has consistently secured them. The property is located in a sought-after residential area in Sudenburg and has sought-after apartment sizes,” explains André Bühlig, Deputy Branch Manager of Aengevelt Magdeburg, adding: “The sale shows that residential properties in preferred locations in the state capital Magdeburg remain in high demand.”
