In the May tender of the Federal Network Agency for onshore wind energy, all six projects submitted by Alterric were successfully awarded. In the tender, which was 2.6 times oversubscribed, the company prevailed with projects in five federal states. The wind farms, which are all scheduled to be connected to the grid in 2028, together account for a total of 242 megawatts of capacity. Some of the projects are being implemented together with partners.
Among the successful projects are four new construction projects: the Apensen wind farm in Lower Saxony, Welsches Lied in Hesse, Osterfeld in Saxony-Anhalt and Durmersheim in Baden-Württemberg. In addition, there are two repowering projects: Bentstreek in Lower Saxony and Ebendorf in Saxony-Anhalt.

With regard to politics, the Alterric CEO added: "In order for the wind industry to continue to realize successful tenders, we need stable framework conditions for investments and secure grid connections."
The geographical breadth of the awards underlines Alterric's ambition to grow as a nationwide energy park operator. The award of the contract for Durmersheim is particularly remarkable: wind energy projects in Baden-Württemberg are considered particularly challenging due to the topographical and planning conditions. At the same time, wind energy projects in the south are particularly valuable in terms of the efficiency of the overall energy system.
