The global real estate service provider CBRE has brokered more than 5,000 square meters of logistics space in Hamburg-Billbrook. The unit comprises around 4,642 square metres of warehouse space, around 800 square metres of mezzanine space and 95 square metres of office space. Mieter is a European e-commerce service provider. The landlord is the Harpen Group.
"The lease underlines the continued high demand from e-commerce companies for high-performance logistics locations – especially against the backdrop of the continued tight availability of space in Hamburg," says Tasha Lichtenberg, Associate Director Industrial & Logistics Leasing Northern Germany at CBRE in Germany.
"The lease confirms the attractiveness of Hamburg-Billbrook as a location for modern logistics and e-commerce users," says Tim Scheve, the asset manager responsible at Harpen Immobilien GmbH. "We would like to thank all those involved for the professional and targeted cooperation."
The Hamburg-Billbrook logistics location is particularly impressive due to its proximity to the Port of Hamburg as well as the direct connection to the A1 and A7 motorways and the rail network. The combination of urban location and efficient infrastructure offers optimal conditions for modern logistics and distribution concepts.
