Energiequelle GmbH is continuing to drive forward the expansion of renewable energies in Brandenburg: With the wind turbine in Danna, the company is realizing the expansion of the existing wind farm in neighboring Feldheim – the place that Energiequelle set up 15 years ago to be energy self-sufficient. Since the expansion is a densification of the existing wind farm, no additional space will be used, but the already designated wind energy structure will be used more efficiently.
The modern Enercon E 138 EP3 E3 turbine has a hub height of 160 m and an output of 4.26 MW. The expected annual electricity yield is around 9,000 MWh. This means that around 2,600 to 2,700 three-person households can be supplied with renewably produced electricity per year.
Matthias Tamm, project manager at Energiequelle GmbH, is grateful for the good cooperation, both with the approval authorities and with the owners and residents on site: "The planning process ran almost smoothly. Energiequelle's strong roots in Feldheim clearly show its effect in the existing trust between all those involved in the project."
With the commissioning of the plant in Danna, Energiequelle is sending a clear signal for the efficient expansion and modernization of existing wind energy areas. The project is an important building block for the sustainable further development of Feldheim, a traditional energy location.
