Raiffeisen Immobilien has once again analysed the prices for condominiums in Austria's provincial capitals this year. This reveals considerable price differences between the cities, but also between new and used properties.
Raiffeisen Immobilien, Austria's largest brokerage association, has once again set out to find the cheapest provincial capitals and compared the current prices per square metre for condominiums in an analysis (as of June 2026, average of new and used properties). Anyone who wants to buy a condominium in an Austrian capital must therefore expect considerable price differences. Condominium ownership is currently cheapest in St. Pölten, followed by Eisenstadt, Graz and Klagenfurt. Innsbruck has the highest price level, followed by Vienna, Salzburg and Bregenz. Linz positions itself in the middle of the field with an average price of 4,200 euros/m2.
