Westbridge, one of the leading energy and sustainability consultants for the real estate industry in Europe, has appointed Dr. Marius Schumacher as Chief Operating Officer (COO) with effect from October 1, 2026. In his new role, Dr. Schumacher will become part of the C-level of the Westbridge Group.
As COO, Dr. Schumacher will develop and manage the central operational structures and processes within the group of companies in the future. The focus is on strengthening project management, digitizing internal processes and expanding the operational infrastructure. The aim is to further interlink structures and processes across business units and to align the organization for further growth.

Prior to joining Westbridge in July 2025, Dr. Schumacher had been with McKinsey & Company since 2019, most recently as an associate partner. He completed his doctorate in production engineering at RWTH Aachen University, where he previously completed his bachelor's and master's degrees in energy technology. He gained international experience at the University of California, Berkeley, among others.
