Logicor, a leading owner, manager and developer of European logistics and light industrial properties, has signed the first lease agreement for the newly emerging Neuss Business Park: Adexpo, a specialist in high-quality rental furniture with a strong focus on the circular economy (reuse and refurbishment), has leased a unit of around 4,500 m² on a long-term basis. It is the largest area at the site.
The business park west of Düsseldorf is currently undergoing extensive redevelopment. A modern and sustainable business park with three buildings and a total of twelve flexibly divisible units is being built on the approximately 47,000 m² former Galeria Kaufhof site. The total lettable area of around 26,000 m² comprises around 21,000 m² of hall and mezzanine space as well as around 5,000 m² of office space. The first letting will take place before completion and underlines the continued high demand for well-connected, high-quality space in established economic areas.
The structural implementation is being carried out together with the general contractor LIST Bau. The units can be adapted and combined according to the needs of the tenants. In this way, Logicor responds in particular to the requirements of small and medium-sized enterprises and provides the basis for new jobs in the region. Completion is scheduled for the second quarter of 2026.
Janica Gerecke, Managing Director, Head of Germany at Logicor, says: “The early letting success in Neuss is an important signal for the market. With Adexpo, we are gaining a user whose business model is based on reuse and refurbishment. We see this as a good example of circular economy in practice. In Neuss, we will show how we can transform existing space into future-proof, flexibly usable commercial space and thus serve demand in established economic regions in a targeted manner.”
