Chestertons Global, the leading international network of real estate companies, has announced a new partnership with Croisette Properties, a Cannes-based real estate firm with more than 25 years of experience in the French Riviera market.
The partnership strengthens Chestertons Global's presence in one of Europe's most established prime residential markets on the Côte D'Azur, bringing together Croisette Properties' local expertise with Chestertons' international network and 220-year heritage.
Cannes continues to attract strong international demand, particularly at the prime end of the market, where buyers from the UK, Europe and the United States remain active. While overseas purchasers account for only around 2% of residential transactions nationally in France (Banque de France), their presence is significantly higher in key coastal markets such as the French Riviera, where they have a disproportionate influence on pricing and demand at the upper end.
Croisette Properties has been a market leader in Cannes for over two decades, during which time the market has evolved from a largely seasonal second-home destination into a more globally integrated investment market, with buyers increasingly focused on long-term value alongside lifestyle benefits. Cannes and other prime markets have demonstrated relative resilience through challenging cycles, supported by constrained supply and strong international visibility.
The partnership builds on an existing relationship between the two firms and reflects a shared approach to client service and international collaboration.
Mohamed Mussa, Managing Director of Chesterton'sGlobal, said:
"Cannes has always had global appeal, but what's changed is the level and consistency of international demand. Buyers are coming from a much broader range of markets now, and they expect seamless access to opportunities wherever they are in the world. What we're seeing is market leading local agencies like Croisette Properties looking to connect into that global flow of clients. For us, it's about pairing that on-the-ground expertise with a wider international network, so clients get both local knowledge and global reach."
Karim Abel, Founder of Croisette Properties, added:
"Cannes has become far more international over the past two decades, not just in who's buying, but in how people approach the market. This partnership allows us to tap into a much wider audience, while still doing what we've always done—offering a very personal, local service. That balance is really important to us. We look forward to working closely with the expanding Chestertons Global network."
The partnership forms part of Chestertons Global's wider European growth strategy, focused on working with established local firms in key international markets.
