Indigo Invest has acquired the Blue Duo office complex in Düsseldorf on Kennedydamm. The seller is an institutional owner, and the parties have agreed not to disclose the terms of the transaction. BNP Paribas Real Estate and Savills advised the seller on the transaction as part of a co-mandate. The buyer was technically advised by Fox Projekt and legally by DLA Piper.
The Blue Duo is located in Düsseldorf's Kennedydamm submarket and comprises the two office properties Tersteegen Office Center A–C, the Tersteegen Office Center D at Tersteegenstraße 19–31 and the Bonneshof Office Center Am Bonneshof 6. The ensemble has around 31,200 m² of rental space and is currently fully let. The main tenant is the auditing and consulting firm KPMG. The properties, which were completed in 2007 and 2014 respectively, were designed by the architectural firm RKW Architektur. The property has been awarded DGNB In-Use Gold and WiredScore Operational Gold certifications, among others.
Indigo plans a comprehensive repositioning of the buildings in the coming years. The aim is to further develop the ensemble into a modern, campus-like office location. The building quality, which is already modern today, is to be maintained and further developed in a targeted manner.
