Quantum Immobilien KVG has acquired a modern residential and commercial building in Bahrenfelder Straße in Hamburg-Ottensen as part of an asset deal for an institutional investor. The property combines young residential stock over six floors with attractive commercial space on the ground floor.
"We are pleased to be able to secure such a sought-after property in one of Hamburg's most popular residential and trendy districts for our investor," says Martin Berghoff, Managing Director of Quantum, adding: "Hamburg-Ottensen impresses with its proximity to the city and the Elbe and, last but not least, with numerous small shops, restaurants, cafés and bars that make the district diverse and worth living in. The restaurant tenants living in this property also contribute to this."
Modern living in a trendy district
The building at Bahrenfelder Straße 177-181 was completed in 2021 and comprises a total of 23 privately financed residential units, ten rent-controlled residential units and four commercial units. All are rented. The mix of apartments varies from one to three rooms with an average size of approx. 62 m², which optimally meets the housing demand in Hamburg-Ottensen. All apartments have high-quality furnishings and most have a balcony, terrace or loggia.
