RQI Immobilien AG (RQI), a real estate investor and family office partner active throughout Germany with a focus on portfolio optimisation, portfolio development and land use conversion, has expanded its shareholder base and also strengthened its Supervisory Board in terms of personnel and expertise.
Against the backdrop of the opportunities offered by the current real estate market environment, especially in portfolio developments, conversions of use and restructuring, the existing shareholders of RQI have decided to broaden the company's capital base in a targeted manner. Additional equity capital was raised for this purpose.
In addition to founding shareholder Professor Dr. Nico Rottke and a high-net-worth person from the Rhine-Main area, another private investor from southern Germany is now also part of RQI's shareholder base. The company is thus broadening its entrepreneurial capital base for the next phase of its development.
At the same time, the Supervisory Board was restructured. The previous Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Alexander Krautkrämer, has taken over as Chairman of the Board. He succeeds the founding Chairman, Professor Dr. Karl Hamberger, who successfully accompanied RQI in its development and market establishment phase.
A new member of the Supervisory Board is Professor Dr. Christian Rödl, who will strengthen the areas of expertise of medium-sized companies, family businesses and consulting in particular. He stands for internationally oriented consulting and auditing activities with a special focus on upper medium-sized companies and family businesses.
Thomas Hegel is now also a member of the Supervisory Board, contributing his many years of experience, especially in the fields of residential real estate, capital markets and stock corporations. Thomas Hegel was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the listed LEG Immobilien AG for many years and is one of the most experienced and renowned leaders in the German housing industry.
With the expansion of the shareholder base and the strengthening of the Supervisory Board, RQI Immobilien AG is creating the organisational and capital conditions for its next growth phase. The focus is on investments in real estate portfolios in which sustainable value creation potential is tapped through repositioning, conversion of use and restructuring.
RQI is thus positioning itself as an active portfolio developer in a market environment that increasingly requires operational real estate expertise and entrepreneurial capital.
