Over the past few weeks in September, the Nordex Group has secured several new orders in Turkey – one of its key markets – with a total capacity of 389 MW. The contracts cover the supply and installation of 56 Delta4000 series wind turbines. Each contract also includes a multi-year service and maintenance agreement, which ensures high turbine availability and supports efficient and reliable long-term operation.
Each type of plant and configuration was selected in accordance with the specific wind conditions, technical requirements and site characteristics of the respective project, including energy storage. This bespoke approach supports efficient and reliable energy generation at the various sites.
The construction and commissioning of the projects are to take place in stages from 2027 to 2028, in accordance with the respective project timetables.
Ender Özatay, Vice President for the Türkiye and Middle East region at the Nordex Group, says: “These new orders underline our customers’ continued confidence in Nordex and strengthen our market-leading position in Turkey, one of our key markets. With turbine configurations tailored to the specific requirements of each site and comprehensive long-term service contracts, we support our customers in realising reliable and high-yield wind energy projects and in driving forward Turkey’s targets for the expansion of renewable energy.”
The names of the clients and projects will not be disclosed.
