Nordex Group enters the New Zealand market with a 192 MW order from Mercury

The Nordex Group has secured its first order in New Zealand: Mercury has ordered 40 N133/4.8 turbines (192 MW) for the Puke Kapo Hau wind farm in Otago and has signed a 30-year service contract. Installation is due to begin in early 2028, with the first turbines due to come on stream in mid-2028.

The Nordex Group reports strong preliminary results for the third quarter of 2026 and raises its forecast for the EBITDA margin for the full year 2026

Nordex reports preliminary Q3 2026 results above expectations and raises the EBITDA margin for 2026 to 11.5–12.5 per cent (previously 8.0–11.0 per cent). EBITDA of around €278 million (12.7% margin) and revenue of €2.187 billion are expected. Positive free cash flow in Q4.

Nordex Group’s order intake rises by 29.5 per cent to 2.8 GW in the third quarter of 2026

The Nordex Group recorded order intake of 2.81 GW (+29.5 per cent) in Q3 2026; for the first nine months of 2026, this totalled 7.73 GW (+16.1 per cent). Prices remain stable. The main drivers are Turkey, Germany and the US; CEO José Luis Blanco expects the international share to continue to rise.

The Nordex Group has secured new orders in Turkey totalling 389 MW. The company will supply and install 56 Delta4000 turbines, each accompanied by multi-year service contracts. The projects are scheduled to come on stream in stages from 2027 to 2028.

At the end of September, the Nordex Group secured orders for 35 wind turbines with a combined capacity of around 228 MW in several countries across Southern, Central and Eastern Europe. The contracts include maintenance services for up to 25 years and cold-climate turbines fitted with anti-icing systems.

The Nordex Group has received a 34 MW order from EEF for the Rauschenberg wind farm in Hesse: five N175/6.X turbines on 199-metre towers plus 20 years of premium service. Repowering from the end of 2027; significantly more electricity at the site from summer 2028.
