PANDION completes OFFICEHOME Rise in Düsseldorf and hands over first rental space
PANDION completes OFFICEHOME Rise in Düsseldorf and hands over the first rental space. High-quality new office building with 35,000 square metres of rental space successfully completed. The first tenant is the auditing and consulting firm EY, which will move into the space from March 2026 with around 1,400 employees. Further flexibly divisible rental space with 720 – 4,200 square metres is available.
The Cologne-based project developer PANDION has successfully completed the Düsseldorf office project OFFICEHOME Rise on Völklinger Strasse and handed over the first rental space to the anchor tenant EY. The international auditing and consulting firm is moving into around a third of the total 35,000 square metres of office space, which extends over the third to sixth floors of the six-storey base building. One of the highlights of the rental space is the Belvedere floor with a roof terrace of around 400 square metres, which can be used both as an event space and as an inspiring place for outdoor meetings in the future.
“The handover of the first areas is a special moment for us. We are proud of what has been built here in the last three years – a 17-storey office building in a prime location that sets new standards for modern work,” says Sebastian Potz, Head of Commercial Development at PANDION. “The OFFICEHOME Rise combines outstanding architecture, versatile uses and sustainable construction. In this way, we create a highly attractive working environment for companies and their employees. Some units are still available and can be customized.”
The OFFICEHOME Rise meets the highest sustainability and efficiency standards: it is DGNB Gold certified, EU Taxonomy-compliant, complies with the BEG 55 standard and has a WiredScore Gold award. With its location between the Media Harbour and the Loretto district, the building offers an urban location with excellent transport connections, e-mobility services and a glass bicycle station.
In addition to the exclusive rental space, the users, which in addition to EY also include the Düsseldorf municipal drainage company and the software company IFS Deutschland, benefit from attractive common areas – including a green inner courtyard, a roof garden with a 360-degree panoramic view over Düsseldorf and a separate fitness area, which further enhances the working environment.
The office building is part of a comprehensive neighbourhood development designed by the Cologne-based architectural firm caspar: On the neighbouring property, PANDION NEXT, a residential project with 91 condominiums, a daycare centre and publicly subsidised apartments for senior citizens has been created by the Sahle Wohnen Group. A green, public boulevard connects the two projects and creates an additional quality of stay.
