Energiequelle GmbH sells French subsidiary Energiequelle SAS to H2air

The past few years have been marked by challenging market conditions for the entire renewable energy industry. Energiequelle is also currently in a phase of consistent strategic realignment. Against this background, the decision was made to hand over the activities in France to an experienced regional player and to concentrate its own resources specifically on the company's strategic focus regions

H2air, an established French developer and operator of renewable energy projects, is acquiring Energiequelle's French subsidiary. The company is pursuing a long-term growth strategy in France and aims to further expand its regional presence through the acquisition.

The existing projects and the expertise of the employees are to play an important role in this. As part of the transaction, all employees of Energiequelle SAS will be taken over. The transaction includes a wind and solar project portfolio with a total capacity of around 500 MW. This includes 60 MW of plants already in operation as well as projects that are in an advanced stage of development before construction begins and will be continued by H2air in the future.
