With the settlement of TK Maxx, the further development of the Isenburg Centre in Neu-Isenburg has reached an important milestone. The international off-price retailer will move into a sales area of around 2,000 square metres on the first floor in the western part of the building. The opening of the new store is planned for autumn 2027.
The lease to TK Maxx also marks the start of a comprehensive refurbishment of the center. Owner Deka Immobilien is investing several million euros in the modernization and long-term strengthening of the site. The aim is to further increase the quality of stay for visitors and to make the Isenburg Centre fit for the future.
"With the lease and the planned investments, we are creating the basis for a long-term successful positioning of the Isenburg Centre. Our focus is on further improving the shopping experience and strengthening the competitiveness of the location in the long term," says Nina Stapf, Global Head of Real Estate Management Retail/Hotel and Strategic Tenant Relations at Deka Immobilien.
"The settlement of TK Maxx is an important component of our leasing concept for the Isenburg Centre, which we have been consistently pursuing since taking over the mandate. Our goal is to make the offer even more attractive for the target group in the center and thus to strengthen the attractiveness of the location in the long term," says Lars Jähnichen, Managing Director of the IPH Group.
Modernisation strengthens attractiveness and quality of stay
In the course of the refurbishment, central areas of the center will be modernized and redesigned. Among other things, new recreation and meeting areas, an upgrade of the catering areas and other measures to improve the visitor experience and accessibility are planned. In addition, technical and infrastructural measures will be implemented to make the center fit for the future in the long term.
The work will start in July 2026 and the IPH Group will accompany the implementation of the measures.
