Quantum Immobilien KVG has acquired a high-quality residential property in Berlin-Friedrichshain for an individual mandate managed by it. The property is located in the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district and comprises 67 privately financed residential units as well as a daycare centre and has a total lettable area of around 6,900 m².
"With this acquisition, we are securing our investor a high-quality, young existing property in one of the most dynamic residential areas in Germany. Following transactions in Vienna and Copenhagen, we are further strengthening and diversifying our portfolio, following our approach of making targeted investments in markets that create sustainable growth prospects," says Martin Berghoff, Managing Director at Quantum.
Friedrichshain – Urban hotspot with high quality of living
The building, which was completed in 2018, is located in a very good residential area in the Friedrichshain district. All 67 residential units have balconies or loggias as well as high-quality furnishings. The family-friendly mix of apartments, with predominantly 3- to 5-room apartments, reflects the local demand structure. A daycare centre integrated into the property rounds off the offer. All space is fully let.
The micro-location convinces with excellent public transport connections. Spacious green spaces such as the Volkspark Friedrichshain and the banks of the Spree with the East Side Gallery offer additional local recreation quality in the immediate vicinity.
The transaction took place as part of an asset deal. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
