Sober and only very cautiously optimistic – that’s how I would describe the mood at EXPO REAL this year. Perhaps the gray weather also played its part. ESG was less of an issue, instead the focus was clearly on profitability. The industry is focusing on what is feasible: stable returns, efficiency and realistic projects.
