Demolition starts for new housing project at Diakonissenplatz
A new chapter of urban living will soon begin at Diakonissenplatz in a central location in the west of Stuttgart: PANDION LIV is a high-quality new building ensemble with a total of 91 condominiums. Now the project developer PANDION is starting to demolish the vacant existing buildings. The two office buildings were professionally gutted and dismantled on the inner-city property. The focus was on resource-saving and efficient recycling of the materials produced.
A new building designed by Steinhoff/Haehnel architects from Stuttgart is planned on the same site, which is to fit harmoniously into the grown urban environment. PANDION LIV wants to impress with soft colours and clear lines, high-quality materials and well thought-out floor plans. A special focus is on the sustainability of the project: PANDION LIV is being built in accordance with the Efficiency House 40 standard and bears the Sustainable Building Quality Seal (QNG). The project thus meets high ecological and economic requirements and offers its future residents an energy-efficient and future-proof home.
The construction project
PANDION LIV comprises a total of 91 apartments, spread over 2 to 5 rooms and living areas ranging from 38 to 141 square metres, with purchase prices starting at 372,900 euros. The urban ensemble is located directly on the recently redesigned Diakonissenplatz, which with its historical and cultural richness now fits into the versatile district as a small oasis. In the PANDION LIV, too, a green inner courtyard and a small park provide additional living comfort. All apartments are equipped with a balcony, loggia, garden or roof terrace as well as smart home functions. The elevator leads from the underground car park to all floors, there are 87 car parking spaces with pre-equipment for e-mobility. From cargo bikes to parcel stations, other service topics complement the living comfort in new buildings. The Cologne-based design studio ASH guarantees the high quality standards for the interior design in this project with high-quality entrance areas. The location in the exciting, densely populated western district with its old districts, quaint pubs and hip cafés and at the same time quick access to green local recreation destinations offers future residents a high quality of life in the immediate vicinity.
The urban ensemble in the west is PANDION’s first residential project development in the Stuttgart city area. By 2022, the company had built a total of 145 modern condominiums on a former sports ground in Leonberg near Stuttgart, 45 of which were price-controlled and publicly subsidized apartments, as well as some commercial space. Further residential and office projects are planned, including in a central location in Stuttgart-Nord, directly next to the Milaneo shopping centre. In nearby Asperg near Ludwigsburg in the PANDION BASTIDE residential district, 94 apartments will soon be for sale.
