The Nordex Group is expanding its product portfolio with a new variant of its globally successful Delta4000 series. The N193/7.X turbine combines proven technology with targeted further developments to optimise energy yield, approvability and cost efficiency.
Building on the flexibility of the Delta4000 platform, the new turbine will be introduced in several nominal power variants and can thus be specifically adapted to different market requirements.
The N193/7.X combines an installed capacity of 7.3 MW with a rotor diameter of 193 meters and 95 meters of one-piece long rotor blades. This makes it a very competitive solution for locations with medium and low wind speeds. In typical low- to medium-wind locations, the N193/7.X achieves up to 14 percent higher energy yield compared to the N175/6.X.
For the German market, the new turbine will initially be offered with a maximum output of 6.6 MW. This will enable project profitability to be optimized at locations with medium to low wind speeds and at the same time to meet the complex requirements for permits and grid connections.

The N193/7.X is based on the proven technology of the Delta4000 platform, which has proven its reliability and performance for many years. Central components, including nacelle, turbine control and electrical architecture, have been taken over and further optimized to meet evolving market demands. Customers benefit from high reliability, short time-to-market and proven production, logistics and installation processes.
Thanks to its flexible power range, the turbine can also be adapted to different site requirements. Different operating modes enable optimisation in terms of energy yield, capacity factor, noise requirements and service life. Operators can thus tailor their projects individually to economic and regulatory requirements.
With multiple tower technologies and hub heights, the turbine offers competitive solutions tailored to the requirements of different markets. Series production of the N193/7.X is scheduled to start in 2029.
