A property from the UniImmo portfolio: Europe
Union Investment has signed an eight-year lease agreement with Athena Club. The US personal care company is doubling the size of its headquarters and will move into around 1,100 m² in the 140 Broadway office building in New York City from June 2026. The building has been part of Union Investment's portfolio of open-ended real estate fund UniImmo: Europa since 2004.
"140 Broadway is a good example of our active asset management approach: To make the building even more attractive to our tenants, we recently modernized the lobby and created a new 930-square-foot public area with a coffee and pastry bar, a sandwich shop, and a large conference room that can accommodate at least 100 people. 140 Broadway offers premium, modern office space tailored to the needs of tenants. Such areas remain attractive even in these challenging times," says Ulrich Dischler. Head of Asset Management Overseas at Union Investment.
140 Broadway is one of the most famous office towers in New York and has been renovated several times since its completion in 1967. The building, which is about 200 meters high, is located in the financial district of the US metropolis. Wall Street with the New York trading floor is nearby, as is the One World Trade Center in downtown Manhattan.
