The flex office operator Scaling Spaces is expanding its Berlin portfolio and opened a new location in the Bouché Höfe in Berlin-Alt-Treptow at the beginning of March. On around 950 square meters, Scaling Spaces offers flexible workspaces for individuals and office space for companies of different sizes. The Bouché Höfe commercial ensemble is a historic industrial complex that has been developed in recent years into a modern location for offices, creative industries and service companies.
Martin Ballweg, founder and managing director of Scaling Spaces, says: “With the new location in the Bouché Höfe, we are expanding our range of flexible office space in Berlin with another attractive location. With its mix of historic buildings, creative users and good transport connections, the campus in Alt-Treptow offers an environment that fits well with our concept.”
The Bouché Höfe are located between the Berlin districts of Friedrichshain, Kreuzberg and Neukölln and are easily accessible by public transport as well as by bike. In the immediate vicinity there are numerous gastronomic offers as well as leisure and recreation areas along the Spree and in the nearby Treptower Park.
Through strategic expansions, Scaling Spaces significantly expanded its market presence in Germany at the end of 2025. The company acquired six existing flex office locations from its insolvent competitor Unicorn in Munich, Cologne, Hamburg and Berlin (a total of around 7,500 square metres). Scaling Spaces is thus represented in the five largest German cities. With the Bouché Höfe, Scaling Spaces now operates 12 locations throughout Germany with a total of around 37,000 square metres of rental space.
