At this year’s Real Estate Summit WOMEN (RES WOMEN), Annette Kröger was named “Manager of the Year 2026”. The CEO Europe of PIMCO Prime Real Estate GmbH has been one of the most influential personalities in the European real estate investment industry for many years. With her strategic leadership, her international market expertise and her long-standing commitment to relevant industry associations, she provides important impetus for the further development of the real estate industry.
The title “Manager of the Year” in the real estate industry has been awarded by Feldhoff & Cie. since 2014 in cooperation with the trade magazine immobilienmanager. The award honors the extraordinary achievements of a female executive at the Real Estate Summit WOMEN under the direction of Simone Ulmer, Partner and Managing Director of Feldhoff & Cie.
“Our Women Summit is my heart project. Every year, 100 female decision-makers from the industry come together here to exchange ideas, learn from each other and expand their network. The presentation of the award is always one of the emotional highlights of the day,” says Ulmer. Annette Kröger received the award on 16 June 2026 in St. Peter’s Church in Frankfurt am Main from Paul Jörg Feldhoff, Chairman of Feldhoff & Cie. and initiator of the summit, and Simone Ulmer.
As CEO Europe at PIMCO Prime Real Estate, Annette Kröger is responsible for a European real estate portfolio in the double-digit billion range. Over the past few years, she has been instrumental in Allianz Real Estate’s transition to PIMCO’s global platform, helping to shape a significant transformation process in the international real estate investment industry. Prior to joining PIMCO Prime Real Estate, she worked for Goldman Sachs Group in the Real Estate Principal Investment practice. In addition, Kröger is involved in numerous leading industry organizations, including as a board member of the Central Real Estate Committee (ZIA), as a member of the ULI Global Governing Trustee and in other national and international committees.
The jury particularly praised her strategic foresight, her leadership in challenging market phases and her contribution to the sustainable development of the real estate industry. Her commitment to modern leadership models, the promotion of young talent and her extensive voluntary commitment were also highlighted.
Paul Jörg Feldhoff said in his laudatory speech about the election of the Manager of the Year 2026: “Annette Kröger has been one of the best managers in our industry for many years, not only in Germany, but above all on a European and global level. She stands for excellent leadership qualities, strategic competence and voluntary commitment in the international real estate industry.”
Annette Kröger about the award: “To be awarded ‘Manager of the Year’ is a great honour and I am very happy about it. This award is not just for me, but it reflects the performance of the entire European PIMCO Prime team behind this success. It also reinforces my belief that leadership in real estate comes with a broader responsibility – it’s not just about creating long-term value for clients, it’s also about creating an environment that positively shapes our industry. I am particularly proud when this recognition serves as an incentive for others, especially women, to aspire to leadership roles and bring diverse perspectives. Platforms such as the Real Estate Summit Women play a crucial role in this by fostering dialogue, providing visibility and providing inspiration for the next generation of female leaders who will shape the future of our industry.”
