JLL advises on the transaction of the hybrid center with 38,700 m² of rental space
The Weimar-based Saller Group has acquired the Wust shopping centre in Brandenburg an der Havel, west of Berlin, for its own portfolio, thus expanding its portfolio in the state of Brandenburg to 33 retail properties. The sell-side was advised by Hines as investment manager. Redevco acted as asset and transaction manager. Reuis provided legal advice to the seller.
With around 74,000 inhabitants, Brandenburg an der Havel is one of the four regional centres of the state of Brandenburg. Built in 1992 and renovated in 2019, the Wust shopping centre has 38,700 m² of rental space spread over 47 shops. The anchor tenants include Kaufland, Toom Baumarkt, Modepark Röther, Action, Expert, Intersport as well as Tedi and Deichmann. Around 40 percent of the income is accounted for by tenants for daily needs. On the 155,000 m² site, customers also have around 1,800 free parking spaces at their disposal.
