The investment developer COMPLEMUS Real Estate has received the building permit for a new office building in Monheim’s Rheinpark and began construction work at the beginning of March.
The project is being implemented as a tailor-made built-to-suit property for the software company Eplan and its subsidiary Cideon Software & Services, both part of the Friedhelm Loh Group. With immediate effect, a property with a gross floor area of 8,700 square metres is being built at the head of the water axis, of which around 8,000 square metres will be office and usable space. It is being built on behalf of the Monheim am Rhein urban development company (SEG). SEG is the investor and builder of the project. The project is scheduled for completion in October 2027.
Eplan is expanding within the city area: The internationally active company for engineering software and services in the fields of electrical engineering, automation and mechatronics is moving from its old address, An der Alten Ziegelei 2, to the Rheinpark. The urban development company will buy, renovate and re-let the previous headquarters with the existing Eplan building.
With the new building in the Rheinpark, COMPLEMUS is already implementing the sixth construction phase in Monheim am Rhein, where the company’s headquarters are also located. In this project, COMPLEMUS is also relying on an energy-efficient overall concept, which includes a geothermal heat pump for heating and cooling, a photovoltaic system and an extensive green roof. The building is to be certified according to the DGNB Gold sustainability standard. GOLDBECK West GmbH was again commissioned with the construction work.
