Engel & Völkers Commercial Berlin has successfully brokered around 1,383 square metres of office space in LUX Berlin to Solactive AG. The international financial technology company is moving into space in the LUX Court part of the building at Rotherstraße 16-19, thus expanding its Berlin presence.
Founded in 2007, Solactive AG is one of the leading providers of financial indices and develops tailor-made index solutions for institutional investors worldwide. In addition to its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, the company is represented at other national and international locations.
“We are currently observing that companies are much more selective in their location decisions than they were a few years ago. The company is no longer looking for the largest possible space, but offices that fit the company and offer employees an attractive working environment. The fact that Solactive has chosen LUX Berlin is further proof that high-quality properties in well-connected locations continue to be in high demand,” says Aissatou Frisch-Baldé, Head of Commercial Leasing at Engel & Völkers Commercial Berlin.
LUX Berlin is one of the established office locations in the Mediaspree area and combines modern office space with a central location in Berlin-Friedrichshain. With Solactive, the property gains an internationally established user from the financial and technology sector, thus strengthening its profile as a location for innovative companies.
