Westbridge Poland Sp. z o.o. (Westbridge Poland), the Polish branch of Westbridge Group, has advised Skanska Commercial Development Europe Sp. z o.o. (Skanska) on the procurement of electricity from renewable energies for two office properties in Poland. As part of a structured tendering and awarding procedure, the power supply for the office developments Wave in Gdansk and Brama Miasta in Łódź was newly contracted for the 2027 delivery year.
Skanska will rely on a reliable and sustainable energy supply with green electricity for both properties in the future. The electricity volume under management amounts to around 3.25 gigawatt hours and includes a total of four delivery points. The properties are supplied with electricity via a fixed-price model, which enables reliable budget planning. In addition, the delivery is backed by guarantees of origin from national renewable energy sources.

Especially in the case of commercial real estate, it is important not to consider renewable energy in isolation, but to transfer it into a resilient procurement structure,” says Anna Nienaltowska, Head of Sales Poland at Westbridge Poland. “We are pleased to have accompanied Skanska in Poland in this step.”
For Skanska, the procurement of sustainable electricity is another component of its own sustainability strategy in ongoing building operation. In addition to the supply of renewable energy, the focus was on economic conditions, transparency and planning security.
Westbridge Poland accompanied the entire process from the market analysis and the tendering of suitable energy suppliers to the evaluation of the offers and the final contract negotiations. After a competitive process, an energy supplier was selected for both properties.
