Colliers Berlin is strategically realigning its residential division, sending a clear signal for further growth and even greater specialization within the team.
As part of the realignment, Jan Knoops will take over the position of Head of Residential Investment (WGH) Berlin. With his extensive market knowledge and many years of expertise, he will further develop the residential commercial buildings sector in the future and further expand Colliers’ successful positioning in this segment.
At the same time, Marius R. Michael will join Colliers and take over the role of Head of Capital Markets Residential & Land Berlin on September 1, 2026. In his new role, he will be responsible for the management and further development of the transaction business in the areas of residential investment and real estate. His focus is on further strengthening the market presence and expanding long-term customer relationships.
In addition, Cedric Piechatschek joins the Residential Investment team as reinforcement. With his commitment and expertise, he will support the team in advising investors and owners and contribute to the successful implementation of transactions.
With the new structure, Colliers Berlin is creating the basis for addressing the different requirements of the markets for residential commercial buildings, residential investments and land in an even more targeted manner. In the process, the positioning in growing segments such as student housing will also be further sharpened. At the same time, the company is strengthening its consulting and marketing expertise and consistently continuing its successful growth course in the residential segment.
