GRR GARBE Retail Real Estate GmbH (GRR GARBE Retail) has appointed Jakob Becker as its new Head of Commercial Management. In the future, he will be responsible for the areas of accounting, controlling and IT. The graduate industrial engineer and real estate economist brings almost 20 years of experience in the real estate industry. His focus areas include the design of efficient processes, the further development of reliable data structures and the targeted use of digital solutions.

Before joining GRR GARBE Retail, Becker had been Director Controlling at LBBW Immobilien Management GmbH since 2024. Prior to that, he worked for six years at OFB Projektentwicklung as Senior Controller, where he managed IT projects. He began his career in auditing with a focus on real estate at Deloitte. Becker holds a degree in industrial engineering, real estate economics (IRE|BS) and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
