PROXITY has appointed Sofiane Ternifi as Head of Sustainability, strengthening its leadership position in sustainability as the company continues to expand its logistics platform in continental Europe.
Ternifi took over his position on July 1, 2026 and reports directly to Guido Piñol, Chief Executive Officer. His office is in Frankfurt.
In his role, Ternifi is responsible for PROXITY’s sustainability strategy across the entire European portfolio. He steers the implementation of sustainability initiatives, supports the company’s decarbonisation strategy and ensures that the requirements of investors, tenants and regulators are met. In doing so, he works closely with the asset management, project development and leasing teams to anchor sustainability as an integral part of all business processes. In addition, he is responsible for sustainability reporting and the disclosure of corresponding key figures.

Ternifi is moving from DWS Group to PROXITY. There, he was responsible for sustainability activities in the company’s real estate business in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. He has extensive experience in ESG strategy, sustainability reporting, climate risk management and the implementation of sustainability initiatives in large-volume real estate portfolios.
