CTP, Europe’s largest listed owner, developer and portfolio holder of logistics and industrial properties in terms of gross lettable area, has completed a modern logistics hall with a gross floor area of around 7,800 square metres in Simmern. The new building at Argenthaler Straße 11 was built on a section of around 15,100 square metres of a plot of land covering around 127,000 square metres. The property has user-specific office space and was specifically designed to meet the requirements of a manufacturer of compressed air technology, which will use the newly created space for storage purposes in the future. Completion took place in June 2026.
The technical features include clear hall heights of ten and 16.70 metres. In addition, the building was structurally prepared for the later installation of a narrow-aisle high-bay warehouse and an automated small parts warehouse. This allows the user to manage the available space particularly efficiently and further automate his storage capacities if necessary.
The project is DGNB Gold certified. As the general contractor, the Stuttgart branch of LIST Bau was responsible for the structural implementation.

The different hall heights as well as the structural pre-installation for a narrow-aisle high-bay warehouse and an automated small parts warehouse create the conditions for efficient use of space and future-proof logistics processes. In this way, we create long-term prospects for our tenants and at the same time ensure that our properties can be used sustainably even if requirements change,” says Sarah Klein, Construction Director at CTP Germany.
The location is located in an established industrial and commercial environment in Simmern in the heart of the Hunsrück region. The immediate neighbourhood is characterised by industrial, production and logistics companies. Companies thus benefit from an established commercial infrastructure, a broad workforce potential and the location between the important economic areas of Rhine-Main, Rhine-Ruhr and the greater Trier region.
A significant advantage of the location is the supra-regional transport connection. The B50 federal highway running south of Simmern provides a quick connection to the A61 motorway near Rheinböllen, which can be reached in around eight minutes by car. The A61 provides direct connections in the direction of Koblenz, Mainz, the Rhine-Main area and on to southern Germany. The B50 also creates an efficient west-east connection in the direction of Trier, Eifel and Benelux.
Frankfurt-Hahn Airport can also be reached from the location in a short time. The combination of the B50, A61 and the proximity to the airport makes Simmern an attractive industrial and logistics location, especially for companies with regional and national supply chains.
