Fifth major “Leitwerk” rental since the beginning of the year
Real I.S. AG has once again achieved a lease success for the mixed-use office property “Leitwerk” in Munich’s Au-Haidhausen district. The German Red Cross (DRK) has rented approx. 1,650 square metres on the second and third floors for the GRC Tracing Service location in Munich on a long-term basis.
The GRC Tracing Service supports people who have been separated from their relatives by armed conflicts, disasters, flight, displacement or migration. The focus of the tasks at the Munich location is to clarify the fate of those missing in the Second World War. The rental space is mainly office space. The lease was brokered by Colliers International Deutschland GmbH, Munich branch.
With the conclusion of the contract, Real I.S. has already achieved the fifth significant rental success in the “Leitwerk” within a few months. In the first half of the year, space was already let to QUBIG, GRÄFE UND UNZER and Implenia. In addition, a professional corporation has expanded its rental space and extended the existing lease.
“The re-letting of the ‘Leitwerk’ is undoubtedly a success story. The fact that we were able to attract a broad mix of tenants with strong credit ratings for the property within just a few months speaks for our active asset management expertise, the quality of the property and the attractiveness of the east of Munich,” says Franz Krewel, member of the Management Board of Real I.S. AG.
The “lead plant”, built in 2000 and modernised in 2015, offers almost 40,000 square metres of rental space. Real I.S. AG acquired the property in 2015 for two of its institutional funds.
