On August 22, 2026, the non-food discounter Action will open a branch at Willy-Brandt-Platz 5. On a sales area of 766 square metres, customers will find over 6,000 products from a total of 14 product categories – from decoration, DIY supplies, toys and multimedia to household goods, garden and outdoor articles to personal care, fashion and home textiles.
Bart Raeymaekers, Managing Director of Action Germany, is pleased with the new store: “The location meets all the criteria that enable our customers to have a pleasant shopping experience. This includes wide and bright aisles as well as sufficient parking spaces. The location is also very easy to reach and is characterized by its central location.” The team consists of between 15 and 20 full-time and part-time employees and is still looking for reinforcement. Our goal is to open up further attractive locations throughout Germany,” says Bart Raeymaekers. He explains the product philosophy of the non-food discounter as follows: “For us, the shopping experience of our customers is in the foreground. We offer a surprising, varied range and convince with extremely low prices.” Two-thirds of the offer is constantly changing.
